Romeo and His Butterfly Lover (2023)

“Whoever lights a candle to illuminate others will not bring darkness upon himself”, this is Romeo’s attitude towards being a man. “I thought I had given up on love, but it turns out that love has never given up on me,” is Zhu Yingtai’s life experience. K-City is controlled by two great families, the Luo and the Zhu, and their feud and struggle has been going on for a hundred years. The Zhu family is in the pharmaceutical business, while the Luo family is in the arms trade. Their respective houses are located in the northern and southern parts of the city, separated by the border, and no one dares to cross it. Romeo meets and falls in love with Juliet at first sight, and decides to ignore family rivalry and follow love without hesitation; Liang Shanbo falls in love with Zhu Yingtai, but they can’t be together because of their status class. There is a price to pay for the greatest love, but can we afford such a price?
